Simone Arnaldi graduated in International relations and diplomacy (2000) from the University of Trieste, and obtained a PhD from the Pontifical Gregorian University (2005). He is Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Trieste. He studies the governance of science, technology, and innovation (STI) governance, with a focus on responsibility in STI and on science diplomacy. He is the President of the Italian Society of Science and Technology Studies (STS Italia).
